New Radios for South Gulf Fire Rescue

“The ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members is one of the most critical needs in an emergency situation.” reports Rick Cederholm, Board President of theSGCVFD, Inc. This month, the SGCVFD 501(c)(3) nonprofit provided funding of over $ 22,000 for 14 state-of-the-art 2-way radios that were purchased by South Gulf Fire Rescue (SGFR). This funding provided to SGFR is part of the ongoing financial support made by the SGCVFD non-profit to SGFR  & the South Gulf community. Over $1 million have been raised by the all volunteer SGCVFD nonprofit to benefit SGFR and thecommunity since 2008. We want to THANK the South Gulf County community for their ongoing support and, most importantly, their financial contributions to SGCVFD non-profit, which help make our community a great place to live and vacation. Our motto is 'Neighbors helping Neighbors'. We could not provide this type of funding for critical needs without their continued support.
